Qualifications:

Minimum of a Bachelors degree is required Minimum of 2 years of experience in recruiting is required Experience in/knowledge of the Medical Diagnostic/Device, Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology sector is strongly preferred but not required Recruiting experience supporting Commercial, Sales or marketing is preferred but not required. Experience with applicant tracking systems is required (i.e. iCIMS, Workday Recruiter, Taleo, BrassRing) Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter is required Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel) is required.

This role may require up to 10% domestic travel. Motivation to hunt and source effectively An autonomous self-starter with a can-do attitude Negotiating and influencing skills, project management, and time management skills are required. A fast-paced individual with desire and ability to respond to teammates requests in a timely fashion and shift focus quickly based on business needs Ability to regularly and accurately maintain data integrity is required Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results against clearly defined deadlines is required Ability to work effectively within and across teams is essential for success Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Responsibilities:

Interview prospective employees and evaluate candidates for employment related to factors such as job experience, education and training, knowledge, skills and abilities, organizational culture considerations, and other data pertinent in selection for a wide variety of non-exempt and exempt positions in multiple functional disciplines. Provide company information to candidates and appropriately sell candidates on the value proposition of the Ortho Clinical Diagnostics experience.

Source candidates by reviewing direct applicants as well as utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter to proactively find and attract candidates. Compile, maintain and provide regular metrics to track TA activity and for HR-related activities and compliance. Ensure all relevant data on applicants, the process and the final hiring decision are properly handled in a timely and compliant manner.

Comments/Special Instructions
This position will be a Remote position, to cover recruiting of Sales positions in the Western and Central regions of the US.

The Opportunity: Ortho is recruiting for a full time, permanent Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our North America Talent Acquisition team. This position will be located on-site in our Raritan, NJ or Rochester, NY office and reports to the Team Leader of Talent Acquisition. In this role you will be part of the Ortho team supporting full cycle recruitment efforts for high performing talent in the Medical Diagnostics/Device industry. You will partner closely with Hiring Managers and Human Resources to manage the recruiting process from end-to-end, and collaborate in creating staffing plans, developing strategies and implementing action plans related to both candidate sourcing identification and recruitment process execution. This includes but is not limited to: Developing job appropriate behavioral and competency-based interview questions, coaching hiring managers and teams on interviewing and candidate assessment techniques, identifying and sharing recruitment best practices across business units, maintaining current knowledge in business/marketplace, legal and recruitment trends and requirements, initiating and maintaining a network of contacts to help identify qualified candidates for hiring needs, and developing sourcing methodologies and strategies to target and identify qualified candidates. Ensure all relevant data on applicants, the process and the final hiring decision are properly handled in a timely and compliant manner. * Provide company information to candidates and appropriately "sell" candidates on the value proposition of the Ortho Clinical Diagnostics experience. The Individual: * Minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required * Minimum of 3 years of experience in recruiting is required * Motivation to hunt and source effectively * An autonomous self-starter with a can-do attitude * Experience in Commercial, Sales, Marketing, Finance, IT, R&D, Training and/or Technical Service recruitment is strongly preferred * Ability to regularly and accurately maintain data integrity is required * Experience in/knowledge of the Medical Diagnostic/Device, Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology sector is preferred * Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results against clearly defined deadlines is required * Must have demonstrated knowledge and experience in HR recruiting processes and practices * Ability to work effectively within and across teams is essential for success * Experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is required; Workday Recruiter experience is preferred * Experience using Workday for Human Resources and/or recruiting is a plus * Strong customer and marketplace focus, negotiating and influencing skills, project management, and time management skills are required. * Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel) is required. * This role may require up to 10% domestic travel.
