The Talent Acquisition Lead will drive Talent Acquisition strategies for the 1-800-Flowers.com Food Brands across the Central Region. The Talent Acquisition Lead will work closely in partnership with Operations business leaders, HR and EHS business partners, and Seasonal Employment Processors. This position will also play a critical role in developing partnerships within the local community to increase awareness and visibility of open positions, establish talent pipelines, and increase brand awareness.
Primary Responsibilities
Manage full lifecycle recruiting process: sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, extending offers, onboarding new hires
Provide a high-quality experience for every potential candidate through effective communication and consistent follow-through
Recommend new or revised policies and procedures that support corporate objectives and streamline the recruitment process
Develop strong relationships with key stake holders to ensure alignment with specific business priorities and outcomes
Build talent pipelines by developing partnerships with community organizations, local colleges and universities, employment agencies, and local human-interest groups
Leverage online recruiting resources, recent market developments, social media and other business resources to build talent pipelines
Partner with temporary staffing agencies for seasonal hiring needs
Organize and attends hiring events, career fairs, campus events, and other networking opportunities
Maintain reasonable and reliable attendance
Work extended hours and/or weekends during peak hiring seasons
