Job Description Summary:

A Talent Acquisition Coordinator provides administrative support to the Recruiting/Talent Acquisition Manager to build and maintain a strong, talented, and agile workforce in Lazer Logistics.

Job Description:

  • Partner with management/leadership teams in creating and/or refining job descriptions and success profiles.

  • Manages intake of job requisitions and coordinates with hiring managers to ensure minimal requirements and expectations are clear and set for posting.

  • Assist in organizing candidates' data in company's internal databases (e.g., contact details, resumes and assignments)

  • Actively seeks out potential candidates through various channels, including job boards and social media.

  • Conduct resume screening and phone interviews to assess candidates' suitability for specific positions.

  • Coordinates interview schedules between shortlisted candidates and hiring managers.

  • Prepare and execute job offer letters in close coordination with hiring managers to ensure details are clear and accurate.

  • Oversee administrative tasks related to hiring, such as sending out necessary onboarding paperwork, processing reference and/or background checks, etc.

  • Advocates for both candidates and Lazer Logistics providing a positive experience throughout the recruitment process.

  • Initiates periodic surveys for evaluating candidate experience, analyzes feedback and proposes improvements where necessary.

  • Prepare reports on hiring (i.e. Vacancy report, time-to-fill, etc.)

  • Provides support for candidate questions related to hiring, onboarding, and Lazer Logistics in general.

  • Establish and maintain rapport and working relationship with various functions, including the People function, and external talent source partners to ensure effective process flow and communication.

  • Other tasks that may be assigned.

Job Requirements Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources, marketing, or related field with at least six months of related experience.

  • Prior experience as a Recruiter, Talent Acquisition Assistant or a similar role is preferred.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Demonstrates strong ownership and drive to consistently learn and improve performance.

  • Ability to face challenges, adapt and overcome setbacks while maintaining a positive outlook and growth mindset.

  • Exceptional time-management and organizational skills

  • Knowledge of job posting sites and professional social media platforms such as LinkedIn and Indeed is preferred.

  • Eager to quickly learn and adopt to use various systems and processes to build a strong knowledge and understanding of the position and Lazer Logistics

  • Diligence and ability to synthesize information.
