The Opportunity:

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator I will play a critical role in supporting recruitment strategies that attract and retain qualified candidates for vacancies while maintaining relationships with hiring managers, peers, and HR Business Centers.

Responsibilities:

  • Reviews and approves offer requests. Reviews disposition codes, and offer letters.

  • Assigns appropriate employment preferences to applicants for staff positions.

  • Verifies qualifications of selected candidates.

  • Reviews education and references based on position requirements.

  • Provides creative sourcing solutions to stakeholders.

  • Identifies recruitment opportunities through a variety of sources, including the Internet, professional associations, networking, ads, university relations, etc. Processes requests, posts, and provides documentation for secondary ad source placements.

  • Maintains a thorough understanding of positions and associated requirements across the university. Fields questions on recruiting-related practices and strategies, escalating questions as appropriate.

  • Provides Workday expertise and process support; leveraging the system to manage candidates and complete the hiring process.

  • Coordinates marketing activities including, but not limited to, coordinating and participating in job fairs, compilating advertising materials, enhancing UCF talent acquisition's social media presence, and developing cost-effective marketing strategies.

  • Provides support and reporting on recruitment activities, strategic initiatives, and special projects that further UCF HR and university talent acquisition priorities.

  • Assists in maintaining statistics on vacancies and recruitment metrics and analytics.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or Equivalent and 0+ years of relevant experience. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219. Click here for more information

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with the talent acquisition process and hiring.

  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service and ability to foster and maintain partnerships.

  • Expertise in building positive relationships, communicating effectively across all levels, and working collaboratively.

  • Workday or similar ERP cloud-based software, Applicant Tracking System, and Microsoft Office experience.

  • Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent organizational skills.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
