Job Description

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator position is an integral part of the North America Human Resources team, supporting the product businesses within Bosch Building Technologies (BT) division. This position will support the Human Resource Team and work as a subject matter expert related to talent acquisition and related onboarding support tasks. This role reports into the Talent Acquisition function and provides recruitment and onboarding support, as well as other duties required by the HR Team.

  • Responsible for providing recruitment support by assisting with applicant tracking maintenance, scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates, arranging travel for candidates, and scheduling onsite interviews across multiple locations all while providing a positive candidate experience.

  • Responsible for onboarding new hires via management and coordination of new hire documentation, including tracking and processing of new hire tasks. Proactively notify key stakeholders and initiate requests with IT and HR Service while monitoring outcomes.

  • Leads the internship/co-op programs by partnering with the HRBP & Talent Acquisition Lead to create program strategy. Executes on tasks to achieve program goals, including posting positions, linking to college platforms, managing career fairs, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and onboarding, while regularly maintaining communications with all parties.

  • Serves as the subject matter expert on onboarding processes and procedures and provides onboarding training and support to hiring managers as needed, and works with external vendors and internal support functions to resolve any onboarding issues.

  • Develops and plans impactful co-op/intern experiences post hire (e.g. events, cross business unit activities, etc.)

  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of state and federal requirements related to pre-employment checks, I-9 processing, etc.

  • Assists in the development of a robust onboarding program sustainable across all business units including organizing and distributing welcome kits to new hires.

  • Assists in the development of outreach programs for potential new talent, boosting qualified job application submissions through various social media platforms and professional organizations.

  • Supports programs and processes related to DEI initiatives including tracking of diversity program leads ensuring a positive candidate experience across all business units.

  • Creates, tracks, and processes all departmental purchases, manages department P-card, creates and updates HR PO's, processes invoices via other available methods.

  • Provide updates regularly on all HR related tasks, while meeting deadlines

  • Adheres to a closed loop communication process where all stakeholders are regularly updated and aware of status of process steps.

  • Track and manage a variety of associate programs; service awards, recognition programs, referral bonus processing, etc.

  • Maintains all relevant HR documentation (word documents, PowerPoint presentations, share point sites, etc.) including new hire documents, new hire orientations, town hall presentations, benefit handouts and internal marketing materials.

  • Operate as a back-up to HR reporting function including SAP reporting and commission processing.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of an Associates Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field.

  • 3-5 years of experience working in Human Resources in an administrative capacity.

  • Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize, and execute the responsibilities independently, in a fast-moving, ever changing business environment.

  • Must have effective communication skills; responds quickly and correctly to all inquires; directs inquiries to appropriate contact or resource and tracks the necessary follow up.

  • Must have strong time management, organization, and planning skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required, active participation in team discussions & workshops, accountable for closed loop communication.

  • Ability to become a reliable and trusted HR team member by consistently and proactively delivering on tasks and projects; on-time, without errors, and without the need for stakeholder or customer follow up.

  • Prior experience delivering strong HR support to a global, matrixed, complex organization.

  • Strong ownership and accountability for items that may require research (IT mishaps, HR errors, etc.) or multiple steps.

  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks against time constraints.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Talent Acquisition team.

  • Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations regarding employment.

  • Ability to work with cross-functionally and possibly with global teams.
