Primary Accountability:

This is a great opportunity for an individual who wants to develop their career within the talent acquisition team. This person will provide a high touch, candidate-focused experience throughout the hiring process. You will provide coordination support to talent business partners, candidates, hiring managers, business leaders, and other HR team members. This role involves high volume interview scheduling and coordination, as well as heavy computer work within MS Office and an Applicant Tracking system. You will provide a positive overall experience for candidates, managers, and anyone involved in the interviewing and recruiting process.Principal Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

Principal Accountabilities:

Provide administrative support and coordination to the Talent Acquisition team during the full recruitment life-cycle. Coordinate recruitment logistics, assist with maintaining the company's applicant tracking system, and oversee the onboarding and background check process for new hires. Assist with other administrative support as assigned.

  • Build and post position requisitions in recruiting system. Ensure details are accurate and appropriate

approvals are received.

  • Assist Talent Business Partners with advertising open positions at colleges or other on-line sites.

  • Assist with sourcing candidates for various roles in the organization. Positions may include point of entry roles to more specialized, niche positions.

  • Schedule and communicate all details of the phone, web-ex or in-person interview with the hiring team and candidate. Tasks will include sending a confirmation email, itinerary and calendar invite to the candidate and sending an itinerary, resume, application assessment questions, interview guides and calendar invite to the interview team.

  • Onboard the new hire to ESL, once candidate is selected and position is offered by Talent Business Partner.

  • Manage background/employment checks. Responsible for verifying responses in the background investigation system and maintaining required tracking. Engage Talent Business Partner as needed.

  • Provide a positive experience to candidates, talent acquisition team and hiring managers by communicating clearly, accurately and timely throughout the recruiting process.

  • Act as point person for employment inquiries and routing to appropriate Talent Business Partner as needed.

  • Offer administrative support for the Student Employment Program, ESL/MCC Scholars Program and onboarding of temporary employees.

  • Register the Talent Acquisition team for job fairs or networking events.

  • May attend networking events or job fairs to connect with active job seekers.

  • Process job changes as appropriate.

  • Write and post new hire and job change announcement on ESL's intranet.

  • Provide support for diversity, equity and inclusion activities as time allows.

  • Other projects and duties as assigned.

Ensures HR administration is done efficiently, accurately and completely.

  • Ensure integrity of applicant tracking system data. Duties may include managing applicant workflow, candidate communication and candidate disposition.

  • Use technology to streamline processes, reduce paper and minimize non-value-added work.

  • Maintain record keeping and file maintenance once candidate is hired.

  • Ensure new hire is on boarded effectively and all paperwork is accurate and complete.

  • Maintain Affirmative Action Outreach calendar.

  • Prepare and present monthly and quarterly reports to the Talent Acquisition Team.

Increases knowledge & skills to provide ever-increasing value to ESL.

  • Work well as a member of the Human Resources and Community Impact team by cooperating, volunteering, learning and communicating.

  • Take the initiative to develop and expand overall HR knowledge.

  • Contribute positively to the team and to ESL by demonstrating ESL's core values.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent HR experience.

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Human Resources required. Experience may include college coursework and internships in human resources.

  • Must have a desire to work and grow within the talent acquisition team. Strong interest in recruiting.

  • Ability to work in a fast paced, time sensitive environment.

  • Exceptional time management, attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Proactive individual who takes the initiative to accomplish tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to communicate professionally with internal and external customers. Strong verbal and written communication skills is a must.

  • Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in the field of Human Resources

  • Previous experience supporting a talent acquisition team

  • Experience supporting Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives

  • Experience using an applicant tracking system

  • Experience creating and running reports a plus

Minimum Education and Experience * BS/BA or equivalent work experience * 3+ years of experience as a hands-on Business Analyst (BA), configuring, administering and maintaining modules related to enterprise HCM.
