Job Summary The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Talent Acquisition Consultant on the Gainesville campus. The Talent Acquisition Consultant is responsible for the strategic delivery of talent management throughout the University of North Georgia. This will be achieved through the development of traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas.

This position will require building relationships with internal and external customers. This position requires staying informed of changes in the relevant labor market. This position is eligible for a hybrid telework schedule.

Responsibilities Recruitment Needs Analysis and Sourcing Assess the needs of the hiring manager and develop a recruitment strategy that includes recruitment timeline, recruitment sources and a process to determine candidate qualification. Implement the recruitment and sourcing strategy in a timely manner and to the expectation of the hiring manager. Utilize creative sourcing methods including social media, job boards, posters, and flyers.

Collect and analyze key recruiting data, including time to fill and source hire. Utilize recruitment metrics and analytics to ensure sourcing process aligns with current marketing trends and practices. Recruitment Planning, Execution, and Administration Provide guidance and direction to managers and HR administrators, ensuring compliance with the university recruitment and selection procedures and practices.

Serve as an advisor and consultant to hiring managers during the recruitment and selection of employees ensuring managers understand the timeliness and appropriateness of recruitment activities. Support hiring managers in the processing of requisitions with specific assistance in providing guidance with writing/editing position specifications. Establish external networks and relationships to create a robust pipeline not limited to job fairs, DOL, and other applicable organizations.

Additionally, coordinate marketing activities to include compilation of advertising materials and developing cost-effective marketing strategies. Evaluate the effectiveness of advertising dollars expended. Assist with local and national recruitment advertising.

Ensure background checks and onboarding procedures are within BOR guidelines. Initiate Inter-Institutional Transfers (Decision). Relationship Building Provide exemplary customer service to both internal and external customers to include candidates, department, and business leaders. Maintain healthy working relationship with UNG hiring officials.

Act as talent acquisition champion agent while effectively communication new strategies, best practices, processes and procedures. Compliance, Records Retention, and Response Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies. Assign committee member training.

Respond to applicants, candidates, new employees and hiring managers related to recruiting activities. Performs other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Must have the ability to work well in a diverse environment in addition to excellent organizational and human relations / customer service skills.

Must be able to maintain confidentiality. Must be results driven, have the ability to multi-task, and have superior attention to detail skills and detailed oriented. Must have strong consultative skills including the ability to persuade and negotiate.

Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required. Two years of job-related experience with a demonstrated track-record of achievement in the recruitment industry. Preferred Qualifications Hands on experience with recruiting system is highly desirable.

Peoplesoft experience preferred. Full-Cycle recruiting experience preferred. PHR or SHRM-CP certification is desirable.
