The Talent Acquisition Assistant is responsible for administering a variety of operational, recruitment and employment related tasks in support of talent acquisition services and operations. This role interacts with a wide range of internal customers at all levels as well as external candidates seeking opportunities.
Assist in the execution of Talent Acquisition events.
Employee file creation and maintenance.
Ensure process compliance in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
Follow-up of all new hire documentation to fulfill the specifications of the federal, state and local governments along with meeting the requirements and standards of the UPMC. Vital information includes I-9, licensure, Act 33/34/73 clearances, social security cards, and visa/residency verifications.
Manage invoicing and expenses as appropriate.
Responsible for building a culture rooted in Dignity and Respect and for holding team members accountable to the same.
Serve as point of contact for general candidate, employee, and customer inquiries.
High school diploma or equivalent with one year of progressively responsible administrative experience required (preferably in a talent acquisition environment); OR a Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field required
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel preferred
