About the Role

We're seeking a Talent Acquisition Advisor, who's passionate about discovering talent and helping people develop successful careers, to join our US team in Columbia, MO. The ideal candidate will be comfortable hiring for our pre-clinical roles at all levels and able to be onsite when required. They will have a deep knowledge of the screening, interviewing and hiring process in order to support our internal clients through the full cycle of the recruitment process across the assigned Altasciences sites.

What You'll do Here

• Work with hiring managers to understand the recruitment needs and ensure that candidates are assessed according to the appropriate criteria.

• Maintain regular communication with hiring managers ensuring they are kept up to date on a weekly basis,

• Review and screen resumes, facilitate interviews, conduct background, and reference checks.

• Negotiate and close employment offers.

• Develop our employer brand by making Altasciences an employer of choice.

• Develop, implement, and assess various recruitment methods to increase the quality and number of applicants.

• Work closely with the HR team to identify recruitment needs and make necessary recommendations.

• Post jobs, source, and attract passive candidates with the utilization of social media platforms (LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Indeed and others) and professional networking platforms to identify and source candidates.

• Maintain candidate database up to date and keep in contact with candidate pipelines.

• Follow all the candidates throughout the staffing process to ensure a good candidate experience.

• Participate in industry events and career fairs to expand network of contacts.

• Participate in the development of talent acquisition strategies and HR marketing initiatives in collaboration with the team.

• Assist with various HR projects as required.

What You'll Need to Succeed

• University degree in Human Resources preferred. Pertinent experience may be considered in lieu.

• A minimum of two years of experience in talent acquisition.

• Extensive knowledge in the use of social networking tools.

• Knowledge of state legislation and Federal Employment Equity.

• Strong interpersonal communication skills.

• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

• Knowledge of Workday Recruiter a strong asset.

• Excellent work ethic and energy.

• Team player, but also able to work well independently and with minimal supervision.

• Comfortable in a fast-paced, changing environment.

• Member of the SHRM considered an asset.
