Preferred Qualifications Position Summary
The Technical Assistance Business Advisor is responsible for providing business counseling and delivering training programs to individuals, businesses, communities, and other entities in their assigned geographic territory. The Business Advisor will have a base of business knowledge, analytical skills, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and will establish networking relationships. These duties include the integration of business theory and practice. Multi-county travel.

Percentage of time 50 Duties/Responsibilities
Develop and deliver business-training programs that are responsive to the needs of the business community served.
Generate curriculum for business programs, seminars, conferences, etc.
Help local field offices determine topics, agendas, instructors, and instructional materials.
Serve as an instructor or facilitator for these programs.
Evaluate programs' effectiveness and make necessary modifications.
Percentage of time 30 Duties/Responsibilities
Document activities via Unity in a timely, accurate, and comprehensive manner.
Collect and transmit consolidated Unity data.
Maintain adequate client files as per SBDC guidelines.
Percentage of time 10 Duties/Responsibilities
Perform all responsibilities efficiently and effectively within assigned division.
Ensure that administrative policies are followed, that programs are innovative and responsive, and that top quality services are delivered.
Utilize client and management feedback in striving for continuous improvement.
Maintain positive and professional relationships with other institutions.
