At Carta, our mission is to create more owners. By building an ownership management platform, we're changing how over 12,000 companies, and more than 800,000 investors, law firms, and employees manage equity around the globe. Now, we're building a new team to reimagine liquidity for our customers. The Liquidity team is looking for creative problem solvers to work on a greenfield initiative to build a marketplace for private securities, CartaX.
As a Tactical Engineer on the Liquidity team at Carta, you'll work on CartaX, an issuer centric electronic trading platform offering tailored liquidity programs for privately held companies, funds, and other fractional assets, in addition to processing public US equities trading at Carta. Specifically, you'll be responsible for delivering applications that will play a critical role in the command, control, and monitoring of the market, in addition to presenting high-quality market data to our clients and our organization.
You will help manage the operational side of the trading system's activities and interact with various internal groups and external parties. You will gain an in-depth understanding of the flow of the trading and settlement cycle, as well as the regulatory and operational considerations of each step. Stakeholders will rely on you to build business intelligence and monitoring tools, optimize existing processes, and develop new tools for the organization. As you become more familiar with the day-to-day operations of the business, it's expected that you'll dedicate an increasing amount of time working to automate them.
