General Description
The Tack Truck Driver operates a CDL-regulated vehicle that applies specialized emulsions and/or liquid AC to roadways.
Key Duties
Familiarity with the safe and efficient operation of paving equipment, including but not limited to tack truck
Knowledge of all USDOT and FMCSA regulations
Perform daily safety checks of fluid levels for leaks and damage to equipment prior to operation, notifying foreman of any concerns
Understand and execute paving procedures while following instructions to meet the standards of the project
Understand and execute different emulsions and/or liquid AC
Flexibility with schedule changes, location changes, time of shift changes
Requirements
Ability to lift, push, pull, and/or carry 50+ lbs
Valid Class A or B CDL and driving record within MVR policy guidelines
Valid tanker endorsement on CDL
Current Medical Examiners Certificate (FMCSR part 391.41)
Preferred: tack truck experience
