We are seeking a Tableau Report Writer to join our FP&A Analytics team. Reporting to the FP&A Analytics manager, the ideal candidate will have experience manipulating large data sets, expertise in developing front-end reporting solutions, and considerable knowledge in Tableau Desktop. They will be responsible for creating and maintaining Tableau reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making for financial planning and analysis, strategy, revenue, operations, etc.
Responsibilities/Duties:
Design and develop Tableau reports and dashboards based on FP&A requirements.
Manipulate large data sets using statistical software or other methods.
Develop front-end reporting solutions to visualize financial data effectively.
Collaborate with FP&A stakeholders to gather report specifications and ensure data accuracy.
Optimize Tableau visualizations for usability, performance, and aesthetics.
Conduct quality assurance testing on Tableau reports to ensure accuracy and functionality.
Provide support and training to FP&A users on Tableau best practices and report usage.
Stay updated on Tableau features, enhancements, and industry trends relevant to FP&A Analytics.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Finance, or related field.
Basic understanding of financial concepts and data analysis.
Proficiency in Tableau Desktop for report development and visualization.
Experience manipulating large data sets through statistical software or other methods.
Function expertise in developing front-end reporting solutions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications: (optional, if applicable)
Experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
Familiarity with other BI tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, SSMS, or QlikView.
Tableau Desktop certification or relevant training.
