We are on the lookout for a seasoned Tableau Developer who will collaborate closely with the Center of Excellence Team and different Departments to understand the current and future business requirements and subsequently implement reporting and analytics that will lead to organizational improvements. Additionally, they will optimize current procedures while setting clear objectives and standards for the advancement, creation, and management of sound business practices. They will ensure the appropriate use of analytical tools, so that analysis and reporting is accurate, timely, thorough, and professional.

This position is located in Miami, FL. Selected candidate must be onsite 3 days per week.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

  • Work with the Analytical Team to deliver quality deliverables on time and within budget.

  • Support and document business requirements for Tableau projects and translate into analytical and technical specifications as needed.

  • Develop Tableau visualizations to support ad-hoc data analysis requests

  • Prototype and build modern BI & Analytics solutions using Tableau

  • Execute test plans and perform QA to assure the functionality and data integrity of reporting and dashboard solutions

  • Build and maintain relationships, sharing best practices with the Tableau user base, and providing specific support when required Ability to understand and translate data to business insights. Ability to join data from multiple systems and sources though the use of SQL and Excel. Ability to mine large sets of data. Summarizes analysis and findings for users. Develop reporting on SAP Business Objects and create excel refreshable files. Maintain data quality through identifying issues, removing duplicates, data cleansing and enrich data quality.

  • Support the long-term vision of the supply chain through effective implementation of business processes and best practices to enable the advancement of SGWS goals

  • Conduct research to identify new solutions, leading frameworks, and best practices in support of delivering a Tableau project

  • Perform other job-related duties, including preparing training material and providing mentoring and support to other analysts to assist in their development surrounding data, processes, reporting and utilizing self-service tools.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • Experience in data preparation, blending, discovery and visualization using modern BI & Analytics tools such as Tableau, SAP Business Objects, Alteryx and Excel.

  • Tableau experience.

  • Expert knowledge in Excel including pivot tables, VLOOKUP's and other formulas.

  • Intermediate knowledge on SQL (Joins, Stored Procedures, Jobs, Troubleshooting)

  • SAP Business Objects experience preferred.

  • At least 3 years of experience in analytics. Supply Chain experience preferred but not required.

  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills.

  • Experience developing, improving, and streamlining processes and reporting.

  • Thorough analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.

  • Timeliness, accuracy, and professionalism.

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $54,200 - $168,900.
