Table Games Floor Supervisor - Full Time (Harrah's Laughlin)

JOB SUMMARY: Oversees operations of assigned pit area; leads a team of 4 to 10 dealers and dual rate supervisors; reports all pertinent information directly to the casino shift manager; responsible for interviewing, training; selecting and adjusting rates of pay and hours of work; directing the work of employees; maintaining production; appraising employees' productivity and efficiency for purposes of recommending promotions or other changes (evaluations); handling employees' complaints; disciplining employees; planning work; providing for safety and security; and monitoring or implementing legal compliance matters.

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS: Ensure a friendly, hospitable, exciting and professional environment for the guests to enjoy; lead team meetings (CSA buzz sessions); create a friendly and courteous environment among all employees by maintaining a professional and exemplary attitude and work ethic; maintain security of all games, monies and personnel; respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling guest demands; alert to any unusual or questionable activity by employees or customers and take appropriate action to correct the situation within established policies and procedures; monitor the volume and quality of pit business and adjust game spread, labor and table limits as appropriate within established policy.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS: Pit supervisor experience preferred. 5 years table games dealing experience with 2 - 3 of those years dealing craps preferred.

Knowledge of table games, i.e.: blackjack, craps, roulette and specialty games. Must have strong leadership skills with a clear focus on customer service and employee relations as a priority. Strong technical skills in pit operations are mandatory.

Must have full understanding of Title 31. Gaming License, Alcohol Awareness Card

PHYSICAL & MENTAL DEMANDS: Lift up to 25 lbs.

Must be able to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and hear. Dexterity to utilize tools. Walk entire shift.

Stand for long periods of time or entire shift. Walk up and down stairs. Type. Work in Secondhand smoke environment.

Maneuver in confined spaces. Accurate Money/chip handling. Tolerate high noise areas.

Tolerate bright lights. Will have guest contact. Work flexible schedules. Understand, read, write and speak English.
