ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides accurate and efficient dealing at assigned Poker table game. Follows game procedures when dealing Poker and/or any other form or variation of table games.Provides prompt, courteous and accurate dealing at assigned table(s).Adheres to all company and departmental policies and procedures and state regulations as it relates to this position.Performs accurate chip and cash transactions.Receives wagers from customers and pays the appropriate game outcomes.Maintains game security and protects company assets at all times.

Assists customers in understanding the rules and ensures adherence to established policies and procedures.Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.Flexible ability to work varied shifts to include nights, weekends, and holidays. Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned

This role has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be a minimum of 21 years of age. To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Must successfully complete dealer training or have previous casino dealing experience.

Must be able to successfully pass dealer assessment and audition. Must be fast and accurate in handling cash. Six months experience in a customer service field preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak and respond effectively before groups of customers or Team Members of organization and over the radio.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to accurately calculate figures and amounts and perform mathematical functions applicable to business needs. Must be able to successfully complete a basic math test.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret and follow through on a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Must qualify for a license with the Maryland State Lottery Agency and meet any credentialing requirements of the Maryland Gaming Control Board. Must be able to obtain a Responsible Alcohol Training certification.

The Team Member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
