The Gaming Operations Administrator will handle all administrative duties for the Table Games, Poker, Slots Operations and Performance departments as well as other operational departments as needed. This role will provide exceptional service to internal and external guests.


  • Answer and screen telephone calls and refer inquiries to other areas, maintain a record of important phone calls

  • Retrieve and screen mail, maintain appointment schedule concerning meetings, luncheons, conferences, discussions, etc.; reminding officer of appointments, as required

  • Type letters, reports, SOP's, memoranda, and other company related forms

  • Leads and supports the gaming operations teams to provide legendary customer service

  • Greet visitors; ascertain nature of business, and direct visitors to appropriate person

  • Keep inventory of supplies and replenish as needed under budgeted expense goals

  • Responsible for cleanliness, maintenance and organization of Gaming Operations office area

  • Ability to maintain a flexible working attitude, while performing job duties in stressful situations or handling complex communication

  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills to meet established deadlines and communication schedules for time sensitive information

  • Handles guest complaints and service recovery documentation

  • Responsible for the organization and accuracy of all employee performance documentation

  • Knows and abides by Maryland Lottery Gaming Control Commission regulations, internal controls and company policies and procedures

  • Must be able to professionally handle sensitive information and maintain complete confidentiality

  • Other duties as assigned


High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent work experience.


  • Table games experience, preferably in a supervisory capacity

  • Proficient skill with personal computer software packages to include Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required

  • Must possess excellent communication skills, oral and written, as well as excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills

  • Must be highly organized and possess the ability to handle multiple assignments in a fast paced environment.

  • Must have a professional appearance and be a team player

  • Timely follow-through and attention to detail

  • Excellent employee and customer service skills are essential

  • Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team
