Holley Child Care and Development Center is a 24-hour long-term intensive treatment residential facility for high-risk and behavioral-challenged children ages 8 - 15.

The primary purpose of this position is to serve in a dual capacity by:

(a) assisting school personal with all aspects of classroom responsibilities and supervision of students during the school day; and

(b) provide quality daily care and supervision of residential clients

Assist with learning centers and any other designated classroom activities with the supervision of the Teacher

Applicants will be expected to provide positive support, caring assistance and responsible supervision.

This position is expected to require a unique sensitivity on the part of the applicants to recognize and appropriately respond to young client's who may have evidenced difficulties.

Staff will be expected to assist the young client's development and trust in adults, through the use of positive reinforcement and praise.

As a member of a therapeutic treatment team, include becoming familiar with the residents' treatment goals, carrying out expected interventions, observation and documentation of success, along with identifying current or suggesting new, therapeutic goals which may require attention by the treatment team.

Work Schedule: Monday thru Friday 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

RequirementsMust be at least 21 years or older

Must have a valid driver's license

(1) one year of verifiable experience working with children in a group setting is required

H.S. Diploma/G.E.D. College preferred.

YCS Location - Holley, Hackensack, NJ

All new hires are required to attend a week orientation: Monday through Monday 8:45am-4:00pm, upon hire.

VIEW JOBS 7/17/2018 12:00:00 AM 2018-10-15T00:00 What You Will Do:2K sign on bonus offered( internals are not eligible for sign on bonuses) As an Enterostomal Therapy nurse in home health, you have a unique opportunity to provide one on one, skilled nursing care and treatment to patients with ostomies, draining wounds, fistulas, pressure sores, and incontinence in their home. Your primary work will include collaboration with health professionals including physicians to create a home care plan supporting an individual, other clinical professionals, and their caregivers managing and improving the patient's condition at home. * Makes the enterostomal therapy evaluation visit, joint visits with the skilled nurse, and re-evaluates the patient's nursing needs during each following visit; initiates, develops, implements, and makes necessary revisions to the patient's Plan of Care in response to identified patient care issues. * Assist physicians in caring for patients with stomas, draining wounds, fistulas, pressure sores, and incontinence, including stoma sitting, teaching, intermittent self-catheterization, and consultation. * Provides services requiring substantial and specialized nursing skill that will include evaluation, selection, and recommendation of supplies and equipment for patients with ostomies, draining wounds, fistulas, pressure sores, incontinence, and any other wound type injury in accordance with the Plan of Care signed by the physician. * Coordinates the total Plan of Care and maintains continuity of patient care by liaising with other appropriate staff. * Actively participates in Team/Case Conferences and initiates Team/Case Conferences for complex and/or multi-disciplinary patients whenever needed. * Supervises and teaches the home health aide and LPN/LVN. Communicates changes in the Plan of Care to the appropriate staff. Required: * Current and unencumbered license to practice as a registered nurse specific to that state the employee is assigned to work by the Company. Board certified with the Wound, Continence, Ostomy Nurses Society or board eligible with one (1) year to complete boards. * Bachelors of Science degree or higher in Nursing * Minimum of two (2) years experience as a registered nurse in a clinical care setting * Current CPR certification * Current driver's license, agency-required automobile liability insurance, and availability of personal, dependable transportation to conduct home visits.
