Systems / Network Administrator III About this Opportunity: AMSOIL INC.
in Superior, WI is looking for a Network Administrator to join the Information Technology team.
The Systems / Network Administrator's role is to ensure the stable operation of AMSOIL Networks and Systems.
The three primary disciplines are Network Systems Administration, OS Systems Administration and Telephony.
Systems / Network Administrators are responsible for planning, developing, installing, configuring, testing, documenting, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing performance within the individual disciplines.
This person will provide installation support for hardware and software upgrades, develop and implement infrastructure plans and projects and evaluate products, services, applications, software and industry developments for potential business impact.

Design, configure and manage Microsoft Windows Server (including Terminal Server and Exchange) and ESXi environments Configure and manage backup solutions Manage and maintain AMSOIL SAN systems (HP, Nimble and third party solutions) Participate in the development of proposals and plans and execute and maintain plans Provide guidance to others and lead small projects Support escalations from the AMSOIL Deskside Support Team.
Collaborate and cross-train within the Systems Administration group Collaborate with Applications Services and Internet Services groups Conduct periodic software and hardware audits as directed Evaluate new equipment and software for adoption as appropriate Requirements include: Associates Degree or above in related field or equivalent progressive work experience 5-8 years of related work experience within a specific discipline Working technical knowledge of network and PC operating systems Working technical knowledge of current systems software, hardware, protocols, and standards Strong knowledge of local area network administration Hands-on software and hardware troubleshooting experience Experience with data management Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws Proven experience in the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products Analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills Good written and oral communication skills Keen attention to detail Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language Highly self-motivated and directed Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure environment Strong customer service skills Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Preferred: MCSE, MCITP, MCSA, VCP or related certifications Project management experience Benefits:
