DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan and implement verification and validation (V&V) strategy, including implementation practices and processes
Work closely with NASA to integrate joint verification activities with the International Space Station
Manage customer-related integrated V&V plans. Assist V&V collaboration efforts both internally and externally
Establish and oversee verification requirements for subsystems and suppliers as part of the integrated V&V plan
Collaborate with system and subsystem engineers, program office personnel and customers for V&V planning, scheduling, and execution
Support the development and maintenance of requirements (both internal and external)
Prepare technical documentation and presentations for peers, management, and external customers and partners
Perform other duties as assigned

Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in engineering (aerospace, electrical, mechanical, or related discipline)
A minimum of 5 years of experience in spacecraft verification and validation activities, including V&V strategy development, planning and execution
A background in space systems engineering including an understanding of space vehicle design, space system architecture development, ground systems support, payloads, and space missions and operations development is desired
Detailed knowledge of spaceflight subsystems and functions is desired, preferably human spaceflight related experience
Experience with JAMA or other requirements management tool is desired
Excellent writing and presentation skills with experience communicating to decision-makers and technical audiences.
