Job Duties:

• The Systems Transformation Officer is responsible for organizing and reporting child welfare performance and strategic plans. To serve as the conduit between qualitative and quantitative review efforts and program improvement efforts.

• Monitors and updates established performance metrics for trends to inform program improvement efforts.

• Manages the safe systems analysis (SSA) process which identifies root causes impacting agency performance.

• Maintains the flow of information into a strategic dashboard including from (SSA, QA, stakeholder engagement, and performance data) to inform program improvement efforts.

• Coordinates with subject-matter experts to develop program improvement plans based on root cause analysis from the strategic dashboard.

• Drafts and refines federal and state program improvement and accountability plans and reports based on existing program improvement efforts.

• Oversees SCDSS's effort to track and prevent maltreatment child fatalities and near fatalities for federal and state reporting and as an indicator of performance.

• Ensures personal identifying information (PII) is properly used, accessed, gathered, shared, and disposed. Protects the agency and networks and applications by safeguarding systems, equipment, and data.

• Performs Red Cross shelter duty or other emergency shelter duty/services as directed.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

A Bachelor's degree and relevant program experience.
