The Global Consumer Markets Product Portfolio Management team is seeking individuals with knowledge of in-market product offerings across Personal Lines and Safeco to conduct research, analyze results, and make recommendations for building new products and pricing programs.
In this role, individuals will provide operational and consultative support to conduct business operations and product-specific research. This includes conducting research to determine how new products will interact with existing products, pricing and underwriting programs, as well as product platform design research to identify gaps or dependencies.
Individuals will be responsible for coding ratabase changes, completing unit testing, and working with technology partners to create user acceptance criteria based on rating changes for functional testing.
Individuals in this role will analyze feasibility based on research and present findings, strategic and tactical recommendations to solve problems, make rating changes and improve business outcomes.
Additionally, this role will collaborate with technology partners to research and recommend product technology investments, identify cross team dependencies and ensure quality.
This is a range posting and the description is posted as a Grade 13. However, candidates will be considered for Grade 11 through 13 roles in the SBU Systems Support job family. The actual internal level/grade for this role will depend on the candidate's overall experience and skill level.
In this role, you would:
Conduct research to determine feasibility of implementing rating programs and present findings and recommendations (strategic and tactical) to solve problems and improve business outcomes

Provide operational and consultative support to conduct business operations and product-specific research

Present research finding and recommend changes and/or take actions based on various factors (e.g., data insights, downstream platform impacts, feedback from quality assurance reviews, etc.) to solve problems and improve business outcomes
Analyze feasibility based on research and present findings, strategic and tactical recommendations to solve problems and improve business outcomes
Collaborate with technology partners to research and recommend technology investments and identify cross team dependencies and ensure quality
Depicts ideas, issues and designs to varied audiences
This role might be for you if you have:
3+ year related experience
General knowledge of business operations, objectives and strategies as well as business process and information flow
General knowledge of IT concepts, strategies and methodologies
General knowledge of diverse technologies and new and current architectures
General understanding of reengineering issues and challenges
Skills in object, data and/or process modeling; financial analysis and planning; business process design
Negotiation skills; oral and written communication skills
