In particular, seemingly impossible products that define new categories that advance Facebook's mission of connecting the world. The AR/VR team supports breakthrough development at the intersection of ambitious science and product development. It will operate on aggressive, fixed timelines, with extensive use of partnerships that will support the overall mission.
The System Integrations Team has the responsibility for developing scalable business applications required to take these products to market. The various streams of applications are Marketing, Ecommerce, B2B, Engineering and Manufacturing, Procurement, Forward Logistics, Reverse Logistics, Customer Support.
The Systems Integration team seeks a Systems Integration Support Analyst who has experience working with a system landscape that support taking a hardware product to market. We are looking for a customer focused individual willing to work through system failures and drive continuous improvements working cross-functionally. This is a full-time position based in our Menlo Park office.
Troubleshoot system applications identify real or potential issues and then escalate to appropriate support personnel or third party vendors.
Assist in integration and acceptance testing, create specifications for system to meet business requirements and assure consistencies across all sites.
Improves systems by studying current practices, proposing appropriate modifications.
Recommends controls by identifying problems, creating improved procedures.
Participate and lead in the analysis of business processes and procedures to identify opportunities for improved efficiency.
To partner with the engineering team on system stability, upgrades, support tasks, refreshes, test environments and other appropriate concerns around overall system performance impacting the business.
To support applications in production as a POC to ensure that they meet the needs of the business and working as designed.
To support procedure and practice within the team to ensure that systems can be restored in a business recovery situation.
To deal with support calls if needed on a rotating basis.
Collect key system performance metrics and prepare quarterly reports for review internally and with partners.
Experience working collaboratively in a team environment.
Organizational experience with a demonstrated experience managing multiple tasks at once.
Experience interacting across internal and external groups and across multiple departments and functions.
Experience adapting to changing business needs and priorities.
Knowledge of root cause analysis techniques and corrective action methodologies.
Ability to set up track and document results as required.
Demonstrated accuracy in work processes.
