Job Title: Systems Specialist I(Salesforce Deployment)-CIO Org
Location: Remote in Dallas, TX or Indianapolis, IN
Duration: 3 Months
We are looking for a Deployment Specialist in support of Internal Clients and project team members to deploy code packages, administer, and assist to enhance our Salesforce environments.
Team members work closely with the release management team to deploy code in test environments through to production which can include multiple Salesforce Orgs and boundary systems such as Oracle, Exadata and 3rd party connections.
The Deployment Specialist assists the Project teams in Salesforce who are responsible for designing and implementing the application solutions & capabilities to help Salesforce maintain and grow in 2018 and beyond. Interaction, communication, understanding of the deployment requirements and relationships within the teams will form the basis of the deployment strategy and execution from the initiate stage to the subsequent go live deployment to implement the solution.
The Deployment Specialist role requires an in depth understanding of enterprise IT software deployment and life cycle.
Release processes for complex integrated enterprise application knowledge is a plus.
Provisioning new and refreshed Sandbox environments by executing a post refresh set of instructions
Deploying backfill delta deployments to bring the environment equal to the Production environment
Deploy code packages and perform all required manual tasks to completion.
Pre & Post deployment support which includes:
Assistance to facilitate testing
Follow up deployment tasks if issues are discovered
Assist in troubleshooting deployment issues required to support the Dev, QA, UAT deployments and Production go-live for each major solution, and the associated boundary applications for the implementation phase.
Communicate status daily for handoff of tasks to the next geographical resource to facilitate continuity in environment and deployment tasks
Minimum 5 years of IT technical experiences with roles in multiple phases of software deployment and knowledge of SDLC.
Able to understand the functional & technical flows across the landscape

Salesforce Advanced Administrator (211)
Deep knowledge of Salesforce product architecture
Experience with large, complex deployments in Salesforce environments
Hands-on experience with the configuration, deployment and expansion of Salesforce functionality by enabling new features
Using, but not limited to, the Salesforce administration module, API, data loader, Jenkins, CTI, custom objects, and workflow
Experience with data migrations utilizing the Salesforce.com data loader
Experience with best practice Customer Relationship Management business processes in sales, marketing, and customer service functions
Process & continuous improvement mindset
Exposure to formal Project Management process
Ability to participate in QA and UAT testing if required
