Job Title: Lead Field Engineer

Job Description

As a Lead Field Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the field commissioning of building automation systems tailored for each customer. Your duties will include initiating, installing, troubleshooting, and optimizing customer systems that utilize advanced Direct Digital Control technology. You will also serve as a local contact for technical issues, offer solutions for complex system issues, and provide turnkey project delivery on medium to large projects. Furthermore, you will ensure that systems, including controls, sensors, and software, are operating correctly. Your responsibilities will also cover loading software, configuring trends, alarms, and reports, implementing time management strategies, and providing comprehensive site-specific training to owners/operators.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 9 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Glen Allen, Virginia.

Work Environment

The position covers the 81 Corridor territory with an ideal home base in Roanoke, although candidates from Charlottesville are also welcome. The role involves physical activities such as climbing ladders and lifting items up to 50lbs. Work hours are typically from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with no on-call shifts required in the installation group.
