Division Information

The PACCAR Technical Center provides engineering excellence to the truck, engine, and winch divisions of PACCAR Inc through innovative product development and testing. The Technical Center is located in the Skagit Valley about 65 miles north of Seattle, Washington.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Perform vehicle and engine diagnostic software testing using test benches, simulators, and trucks.

  • Ability to perform all functions of SDLC, including requirements analysis design, development, and quality assurance.

  • Strong ability to peer-review technical artifacts against standards.

  • Collaborate with teams to provide solutions to meet strategic and tactical business needs.

  • Perform job duties as assigned by the manager or technical lead.

Qualifications

  • Two to four years required in hardware and software testing.

  • Test automation skills.

  • Ability to write and understand MS-DOS batch files.

  • C# test automation and scripting skills.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.

  • Highly self-motivated.

  • Able to work effectively in a team environment with little or no supervision.

  • HP Quality Center knowledge.

  • Ranorex knowledge.

  • Selenium knowledge.

  • Git knowledge.

  • TestStand/VeriStand knowledge.

  • Programming knowledge/skills.

  • Strong knowledge of software delivery methodologies.

  • Demonstrated strong leadership skills.

  • Strong understanding of business process, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

  • Develop and produce business and IT requirement documents including necessary flow diagrams.

Education

Associate Degree in related field required, Bachelor Degree preferred.

Job Functions / Responsibilities * Plans, coordinates, and conducts projects of moderate to large scope with minimal supervision. * Creates risk analysis on the content of software releases to prioritize testing * Ensures requirements are covered by executable test cases and executable test cases are supported by requirements. * Recommends best test method (HIL or vehicle) based on the needs of the test plan. * Tracks expected implementation dates for functions and requirements. * Manages the application lifecycle database to modify fields and generate reports. * Fosters excellent communications. * Establishes and maintains cooperative and productive work relations with all other departments. * Local travel in the Puget Sound area up to 20%, domestic and international travel up to 5%.
