Current Need

Position Description

  • Conducts systems programming & systems support activities such as new or revised program language codes, processing routines, report generators, etc.
  • Analyzes, acquires, installs, modifies and/or supports operating systems, databases, & utilities

  • Monitors effective systems processes, hardware utilization & utilization of database management techniques; capacity planning

  • Modifies, maintains & updates software such as installs, builds/loads scripts compilers, linkage editors, assemblers, OEM products & utilities, JCL, macros & subroutines

  • Develops & reviews operator & control instructions

  • Prepares & conducts system & programming tests requiring interfacing of hardware & software

  • As directed, prepares feasibility studies & designs tests to determine operating characteristics of software

  • Evaluates existing hardware options & implements new hardware

  • Follows certification processes to include incident & change management

Minimum Requirements

Entry level experience in systems programming

Critical Skills

  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with business partners.

  • Strong communication (written, verbal) and facilitation skills

  • Strong decision and analytical skills.

  • Ability to be self directed

  • Business requirements definition and planning experience.

Analyze requirements to create or contribute to the functional design, leveraging advanced and /orspecialized technical knowledge, for one or more projects which are complex or involve multiple areas of the business

Additional Knowledge & Skills

  • Entry level knowledge of the analysis, installation, modification & support of operating systems, databases & utilities
  • Entry level knowledge of scripting & one or more of the following: - Operating systems, applications or other specialized systems administration

  • Network communications

  • Storage administration

  • Implementation of new hardware, server & peripheral devices

  • Entry level knowledge of problem determination & resolution

Education
4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience

Serving as mentor and expert resource person fOR'specialty surgery programs OR'service line directors at assigned hospitalsWorking collaboratively with others at Corporate to facilitate and improve our surgery programs quality of service. Assisting with strategic planning, market analysis, business development, growth and quality improvement plans for the hospitals regarding surgical services programs. Observing professional ethics in maintaining confidential information concerning the personal, financial and medical or employment status of patients and staff. Developing collaborative relationships with corporate and hospital personnel, staff and physicians, to ensure continued focus and improved operations. Researching and developing evidence-based practice standards, best practice criteria and outcomes metrics for their hospitals. Experience in coaching, mentoring and developing others in variety of key skills including: relationship management, project management, staffing and execution. and outcomes metrics for the hospitals. Certificates and Licenses: Current Nursing License required. Certification in Lean Six Sigma preferred.. CNOR preferred. BLS Certification required. Education/Experience: Masters Degree in Nursing, Business, Health Care Administration or other health/business field or currently actively enrolled in Masters Degree program in Nursing, Business, Health Care Administration or other health/business related field is preferred. BSN required Must have at least yearsof Director of Surgical Services experience Technical knowledge of surgical services and the operating room/procedural environment. Knowledge of computer systems, information systems, information management, and data analysis. Minimum of five years experience in varied disciplines of surgery. Minimum of five years experience in management and administration at large academic or tertiary facility.
