Your Role

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams globally and have the opportunity to work on next-generation technologies such as automated driving, driver monitoring, and advanced safety systems. The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing software solutions that make a positive impact on people's lives. You should have a strong background in software development, with experience in software design, coding, testing, and debugging. You should also have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. In your daily job you will:

Lead a team of systems engineers assigned to the development of Body/Domain controller module. This role is in particular responsible for:

• Estimation and planning of the systems resources required for the development of the electronic control units

• Creation and maintenance of the System Software Development Plan (SSDP)

• Prioritization, planning and tracking of the necessary systems activities with the objective to meet the project goals in regards to project timing, costs and quality

• The interface to the customer for all technical questions in the system scope of the developed product

• Managing and tracking all competencies in regards to analysis and clarification, evaluation of change requests and resolution of system issues

• Ensuring on time completion of systems work products both with regard to customer milestones and APTIV internal milestones related to APTIVs product development process (PDP)

• Ensuring that system activities comply with APTIV processes and methods

• Reporting of requirement status and status of systems activities

• Build & maintain business relationships with our customers' engineering teams

• Cooperation in the continuous improvement of systems processes and methods

Your Background

Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:

• Bachelor in Engineering or related field and minimum of 5 years of related, proven experience successfully leading system engineering activities; or a Master of Science in Engineering or related field and minimum of 3 years of related experience.

• 3 years of experience working and leading a vehicle product that runs CAN/LIN network.

• Experience in tools like Polarion, JIRA, & Vector CANoe.

• Understanding of Functional safety, & Cyber security concepts like Secure boot, Secure flash, Authenticated Diagnostics, & Secure Messaging.

• Experience in DFMEA, & FTA on System level.

• Ability to understand the Hardware schematics.
