What will you do? We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced System Engineer to join our Systems Architecture and Engineering team.

This position is responsible for creation, validation, and maintenance of large-scale Digital Power software & hardware solutions for the Data Center Segment. This will involve doing hands on management of lab equipment from IT and solution aspect, configuration of software & hardware systems, validation of these solutions, automation of validation tests and replicating customer issues in these systems. The product portfolio includes Power Metering, Protection, Control, On-prem Software and Cloud.

An ideal candidate would have 5+ years of experience in these areas. Interface directly with solution engineering team to understand requirements Detail all the requirements into system architecture representing customer systems Develop demo customer scenarios for customer feedback & validation Manage IT infrastructure and Digital Power product infrastructure Validate end-to-end large scale customer scenarios for system performance Develop validation use cases and develop automation of those use cases Mentoring of Technical Support groups with new features and resolutions to common situations Interfacing with development teams to understand integration issues across the product portfolio What's in it for you? Who will you report to? Jason Thurmond What qualifications will make you successful for this role? Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering Good understanding software, hardware, and communications architectures Strong software/IT maintenance, development, and testing ability for in-depth resolutions of complex system issues Experience with communication protocols such as Modbus, BACNet, OPC UA, IEC61850, SNMP Experience with business segments such as Data Centers, Energy & Chemical & Power & Grid Power Operation or similar SCADA offer and connected communication hardware/gateways Good understanding of OT & IT networking Customer-service oriented and able to advocate for customers with project teams Familiar with test automation tools and scripting such as Python and Javascript Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently and independently.
