Responsibilities:

Provide expertise in achieving effectiveness and efficiency in the delivery and support of services to ensure value for the customer and the service provider for desktop, compute and storage, security, network and consolidated management services. Assist customer in the review and evaluation of Service Operations functions including Event Management, Incident management, Problem Management, Access Management, Service Desk, Technical Management, Application Management and Operations Management.

Identify risks or issues in the execution of Service Operations functions and provide mitigation recommendations. Identify opportunities to enhance effectiveness and efficiency in the delivery and support of services. Provide recommendations to implement enhancements while maintaining current Service Operations levels.

Career level with a complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories and concepts. Working under only general direction, provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions.

Qualifications:

Requires 2 to 5 years with BS/BA or 0 to 2 years with MS/MA/MBA or 8 to 10 years with no degree.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 1) Active TS/SCI w/poly clearance 2) IT Service Operations or Operations and Maintenance (O&M) domain experience in Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD), or Commercial IT programs. 3) Ability to relate professionally with customers and colleagues 4) Strong written and verbal communication skills 5) Responsible, reliable and flexible 6) Passion for learning and knowledge transfer

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS 1) Bachelor or Master degrees in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering or other Information Technology disciplines 2) Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Service Management

  • Foundations and especially Practitioner Certifications 3) Amazon Web Services (AWS) Certifications 4) Exposure to Intelligence Community IT Enterprise (IC ITE) service offerings and service adoption 5) Ability to lead and influence

Design and define system architecture for new or existing computer systems. * Performs systems development and design work that may include logic design, I/O design, firmware development, model formulation, manufacturing and development cost projections, computer architecture analysis and design, and analog or digital systems engineering. * Performs systems modeling, simulation, and analysis. * Participates in the upgrading of operating systems and design of systems enhancements. * Provides input for documentation on new or existing systems. * Develops and conducts tests to ensure systems meet documented user requirements. * Identifies, analyzes, and resolves operating/hardware system problems. * Provides system/equipment/specialized training and technical guidance. * Determines system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility. * Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned. * Participates in special projects as required. Education Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience. Qualifications 2-15 years of related systems engineering experience. Some positions may require an appropriate and current DoD Information Assurance (IA) Certification to be considered for employment; either valid CompTIA Security+ CE, Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)-Security. CompTIA Security+ CE Certification is the preferred certification. In addition, candidate must attain the required DoD 8570 Computing Environment (CE) Training within six (6) months of Hire Date. Because of the sensitive nature of the work being done for this government client, all candidates must hold a TS/SCI with Polygraph.
