CACI is currently hiring a Sr. Systems Integrator / Administrator (Linux) to join our team in Chantilly, VA. The ideal candidate will have established expertise in enterprise Linux engineering/administration and database administration; ideally to include Elasticsearch.
More About the Role:
Assess candidate systems, applications and open source modules as potential elements for inclusion into the Sponsor system.
Identify key interdependencies, roadblocks, issues, and risks with modifying existing systems and shall work with system developers to proactively address these issues in a timely manner.
Work with the government customer to develop and document requirements for their system.
Document and execute test scenarios, plans and procedures for acceptance testing.
Ensure the software interfaces properly with related systems, to include configuring and installing appropriate software.
Ensure performance testing is completed and successfully meets requirements.
Responsible for activities to modify minor modifications of this code and make code changes to get the application working on isolated networks.
Travel up to 25% OCONUS is required
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
Bachelors Degree (additional experience may be considered in lieu of) and 10+ years of relative experience
Valid Passport / Documentation for OCONUS Travel (up to 25%)
Extensive experience with LINUX administration and supporting core enterprise services.
Experience in engineering and providing direct administrative support with ElasticSearch (or similar database)
Expertise in open source technologies and experience in pulling together multiple open source modules to satisfy a system requirement
Experience with Ansible, Docker and virtualized environments
Experience in DevOps and in the successful deployment of applications from one physical environment to another
Possess experience with agile methodologies.
Experienced in troubleshooting and resolving clustered hardware, networking, system and/or software errors on an isolated network.
Experience in the full software development lifecycle. This includes development, deployment, testing, and monitoring.
