Work you'll do/Responsibilities
Responsible for supporting and independently completing project tasks related to Performance Testing
Identifies key drivers of defined, straightforward Performance Test problems and proposing solutions
Identifies and solves problems using analysis, experience, and decision making
Understands the benefits of using state of the art methods and tools and their application on a particular engagement; contributes to continuous development of methods and tools
Manages work to work plans for components on engagements
May independently own a work stream, reviewing, and potentially directing the work of more junior staff
Develops solutions to client problems through application of methods and tools; validates solutions to subject matter experts
Demonstrates accountability and contributions to the successful realization of client goals
As a Performance Tester, be responsible for building and maintaining performance testing scripts using HP Performance Center (Load Runner) or JMeter
Be proficient in evaluating performance test requirements, understand the business metrics, understand application capacity plan to determine scope to be covered by the performance testing suite, creating and maintaining performance test scripts and executing performance tests
Be proficient and have a good understanding of best practices in software development following Agile and Hybrid-Agile methodologies

Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience.
Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
Ability to travel up to 20 percent.
Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Performance Testing, Performance Engineering and identifying opportunities for Performance Tuning
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in leading industry tools such as Load runner, JMeter or Rational Performance Test
Candidate should be able to design and execute the Load test using performance testing tools according to the requirements
Candidate should be able to create/design the performance script framework by using different functions, methods and programs
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in developing performance test scripts for visual studio web applications using multiple protocols
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in developing performance test scripts for Java & Vue.JS web applications
Strong understanding of infrastructure and application performance monitoring
Strong understanding of web services and soap requests
Strong development experience in SQL and Transact-SQL using Oracle DB
Web technologies and methodologies (XML, SOAP, REST, etc.).
Using the command line terminal, source control systems such as SVN or Git, and defect tracking system such as Jira or Trac.
Certifications in system administration, system architecture, virtualization or cloud technologies.
Ability to quickly adapt to a changing environment.
Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software is necessary.
Candidate should be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player.

Ability to multi-task & support multiple priorities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
