As a Systems Integration Test Engineer, you will develop, implement and sustain system level test infrastructure for our Robotics Systems, coordinating the deployment of test equipment, software, and procedures for both in-line and end-of-line production testing. Every day you will interact with the product design, software- platform and controls, manufacturing and quality engineering teams to ensure the appropriate test solution is being designed for our robotics systems. To thrive in this role, you must be capable of understanding complex electromechanical systems and assemblies at a deep systems engineering level.

Day to day activities:
Working within a team of engineers to design, construct, document, and run test sets on electromechanical parts and assemblies
Lead troubleshooting and failure analysis efforts on the production floor to improve engineering and assemblies design as well as supplier quality
Collaborating with software and controls groups to develop proper software testing strategies for electromechanical assemblies and complete robotic systems
Collect, analyze and present test performance data to both operations and engineering stakeholders to continuous improvement
Training both internal and external manufacturing in the use and support of production test equipment, test programs, and debug processes
Coordinating with both software and quality teams to create and maintain the data backhaul of tests used for quality control
Desired skills:
1-2 years of experience from various industries- robotics, medical, defense, with performing systems integration and test functions
Familiarity with system level debug and failure analysis and driving to root cause, working with engineering
Familiarity with Jira or other ticket/issue management and tracking systems
Experience working with manufacturing team members to create test plans and procedures for complex electromechanical assemblies on final assembly lines
Able to interpret mechanical assembly drawings and provide feedback to mechanical designers
Able to interpret electrical schematics and cable drawings and provide feedback to electrical designers and technicians
Experience working with software and control teams in robotics manufacturing test development is highly preferred.
Self-motivated and able to work in a ambiguous environment with minimal supervision
