Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Systems Engineer Integration 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in St. Augustine, FL.

This position will be responsible for supporting flight line manufacturing with executing the various test specifications for first flight check out of production aircraft. Support includes troubleshooting the aircraft when required, and assisting technicians when requested. In addition, the individual will be required to attend flight briefings and debriefings to discuss with aircrew status and rework of the aircraft systems. Perform dispositions of Non-Conformance tags via MES under the direction of MRB authority. Designate retest requirements for Non-Conformances with material direction, and designating Non Safety of Flight conditions for tags and AMOs.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 2 years of system engineering experience OR

  • Master's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university

  • 2 years of experience in aircraft avionics

  • 2 years of experience with RF, electrical circuits and electrical systems

  • Active DoD Secret security clearance with ability to maintain it throughout employment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience with the WRA systems of E2D

  • Strong understanding of RF characteristics

  • Previous experience with Test equipment, such as multi-meters, network analyzers, and signal generators

In this position you will: * Source and purchase machinery, equipment, tools, raw material, packaging materials, parts, services, and/or supplies necessary for operation of an organization. * Prepare Request for Quote (RFQ), analyze and evaluate quotes. * Select or recommend suppliers, analyzes trends, negotiates prices and terms and conditions, selects suppliers, writes awards, and administers resulting purchase orders by verifying delivery, resolving issues with suppliers, approving payment, and maintaining necessary records * Confer with suppliers and analyzes suppliers operations to determine factors that affect prices and determines lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules * Negotiate and coordinate additions, deletions, or modifications to purchase orders Basic Qualifications: * Bachelors degree and a minimum of 3 years related experience -OR- Masters degree and a minimum of 1 year.
