Systems Integration And Test Engineer

Actalent is hiring a Systems Engineer (I&T) for a large Aerospace/DoD company located in Syracuse, NY. Position offers full time benefits, paid vacation, paid holidays, and OT pay. Work schedule offers flexibility (company works 4/10s, every Friday off). Please apply with an updated resume.

Responsibilities:

• Will perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems

• Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal

• Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints

• Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications

• Able to integrate software and hardware, validate and verify software changes, and perform system updates

• Will be hands-on with lab systems and tactical radar systems

Qualifictions:

• Understands integration planning for large systems

• 3-8 years of Hands-on Systems Integration and Test experience on modern digital radars (or experience integrating some sort of sensor)

• Testing with Electrical/RF/SW experience.

• Ability to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance
