Systems Engineering Manager

Piper Enterprise Solutions is currently looking for a Systems Engineering Manager to work for a large infrastructure team in Columbia, Maryland at a well known company.

Responsibilities for the Systems Engineering Manager include:

• Contributes to the modernization of infrastructure strategy

• Creates and maintains design and configuration artifacts

• Support capacity planning and identifying proactive maintenance

• Contributes to the architecture peer review process

• Contributes to the modernization of infrastructure strategy

• Provide technical guidance and mentoring of junior Systems Engineers and System Administrators.

Qualifications for the Systems Engineering Manager include:

• 8-10 years of experience as a systems engineer

• Eight (8) years of direct experience with Microsoft products

• Azure, SCCM, AD, 0365

• Knowledge of Project Management Lifecycle, and IT Service Management (ITIL) processes

• Enterprise level backup and disaster recovery experience

• Rubrik, Zerto, etc

• Extensive knowledge of services and security

• DNS, DHCP, KMS, DLP

• MCSE or similar certifications are preferred

Compensation for the Systems Engineer Manager includes:

• Salary Range: $115,000-$125,000 based on experience
