Job Description: & Qualifications

Lead the development and production delivery of a cross-functional Bill of Material (BOM) and Engineering Change Management solution from program start to Job Last.

Responsibilities

  • Owns new Functional requirements (Features)

  • Drive progression of new features includes business case (why) and acceptance criteria(what)

  • Reviews Test Cases and Acceptance criteria prior end of development iteration

  • Owns priority perspective for work stream

  • Support Product Owners (i.e. issue resolution)

  • Prioritizes development team backlog

  • Define future state (i.e. Phase 2) requirements

  • Define and document Process Maps

  • Lead Solution diagrams with integration team

  • Work cross-functionally to define future state R&Rs

  • Design Non-functional requirements

  • Define Performance Enhancements

  • Support Training Requirements (i.e. new functionality)

  • Document Methods and Single Point Lessons (SPLs)

  • Support Cross functional strategic discussions including decomposition of Ford's product creation process to identify and resolve current state inefficiencies

  • Support Planning and Release

  • Create Release Plan to meet production support prioritization

  • Prioritize Data Fixes and get assigned milestone per SLA

  • Support creation of deployment and development metrics

  • Manage Rally backlog to align with priorities

  • Manage cross-product dependencies

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2+ years of experience related to Bill-of-Process relationships with Bill-of-Material
  • 2+ years of experience with industry leading BOM authoring techniques and practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree, preference given to Engineering

  • 3+ years of experience in Automotive Industry with Engineering or Bill of Material related role

  • 1+ year of experience with data analytics

  • Experience with Bill of material tools and processes

  • Strong Analytical and problem solving skills

  • Self-Motivated and well organized, ability to work independently and within teams to drive teams to meet deliverables

  • Familiarity with Ford Systems: FEDE BOM, WERS, GPIRS, WIPS, FEDE

  • Experience with software development life cycle, project documentation, and Agile methodologies

  • Familiar with Teamcenter

  • Proficient with MS Office products

  • Understanding of Alteryx and Data Warehouse

  • Effective oral and written communications work effectively with cross-functional teams
