A Snapshot of Your Day

The Compressor Package Design Specialist will lead or support development, standardization, and cost reduction projects around our compression products. The focus is on the field of energy transition and decarbonization of industry. You will be working with a global team of engineers from the office with some opportunity for travel.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Strategic focus will be on steel structures and piping design and layout for compression packages and auxiliary equipment such as: lube oil, dry gas seal, cooling water, and process gas systems.,

• Generates ideas for cost-out.

• Supports non-conformance investigations for customer projects.

• Leads assigned corrective and preventive actions while collaborating with multiple global parties.

• Assists bid management in non-standard project requirements and designing new concepts.

• Supports product safety reviews.

• Supports the development of standard comments and exceptions to applicable industry standards (e.g., API)

What You Bring

• Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline or related field is required.

• 5+ years of experience with rotating equipment.

• Proven knowledge of the processes, the business software (e.g., NX, Teamcenter, COMOS) and the technology of turbomachinery construction is preferred.

• Experience working in a global environment, leading global project teams is preferred.

• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
