Systems Engineer Technical Specialist

  • Clearance: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph

  • Location: Chantilly, VA

  • Years of Experience/Education: 10-12 years with BS/BA or 8-10 years with MS/MA or 5-7 years with PhD

Position Overview

This program provides transport system engineering expertise to the customer to develop new capabilities that meet user needs. The external facing activities are a services paradigm, while internally determining the acquisitions required to ensure the services are available as promised to the user community. The position will require working shoulder-to-shoulder with our customer and collaborating across the team. The candidate will be responsible for the definition and management of requirements associated with a service designed to support multiple simultaneous system users. The successful candidate will be the key personnel to identify new requirements to support user needs and will interact with multiple external organizations.

Required Qualifications

  • Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph

  • STEM Degree

  • Have a detailed understanding of the program lifecycle

  • Experience in requirements definition and management

  • Experience in satellite system development activities and an understanding of how services are represented to users

  • Juggle multiple requests simultaneously and pro-actively meet different program office needs
