Responsibilities:

This component of the Space Program provides Enterprise Systems Engineering (ESE) and Integration capabilities to a national intelligence acquisition and operations organization. The program supports full lifecycle acquisition across all mission domains of a complex national systems architecture.

This position will serve as a member of the COMM ESE SETA team.

This program is seeking a talented; customer focused senior COMM / IT engineer. Interested candidates should thrive in an innovative, fast-paced environment, can roll up their sleeves, work hard, and motivate the team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, leadership abilities, organization, have an ability to prioritize their time, and understand the value of providing strong customer service.

Position Duties:

  • Support teams coordinating and assessing requirements, CONOPs and architecture products, system schedule and risk management, system integration of new initiatives in support of expanded mission capabilities.

  • Support various system readiness events and independent review teams and is required to have a systems engineering background.

  • Interact with multiple Acquisition Offices (AOs) and facilitate risk and action closure with AOs and users, and support technical consultation, meeting coordination, and support to briefings.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Requires 5 to 7 years with BS/BA or 3 to 5 years with MS/MA or 0 to 2 years with PhD

  • Must have an active TS/SCI, the ability to pass a CI poly

  • Strong business acumen; ability to relate professionally inside the work environment

  • Detailed knowledge of communications systems

  • Experience supporting integration of Infrastructure Services, Application Services, and mission applications

  • Highly organized and skilled communicator

  • Adaptability and experience with interaction on-site with the government customers

  • A passion for learning, helping others, sharing team knowledge, and contributing value to the mission in any way possible

The program supports full lifecycle acquisition across all mission domains of a complex national systems architecture. * Provide system end to end closure of requirements baseline for Space Protection programs and related activities. * Follow readiness processes for Integration and Closure (I&C). * Coordinate with all stakeholders across the enterprise including action tracking and follow-up. * Provide support to system integration of new initiatives for expanded mission capabilities. * Assess requirements, Concept of Operations (CONOPs), architecture products, sstem schedules, and risks. Qualifications Mandatory: * Requires 8 to 10 years with BS/BA or 6 to 8 years with MS/MA or 3 to 5 years with no PhD. * TS/SCI and eligible for a CI poly. * A passion for learning, helping others, sharing team knowledge, and contributing value to the mission in any way possible. * Experience with large acquisition systems engineering efforts, methods, and processes. * Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment. * Good oral and written communication skills; MS Office proficient. * Good business acumen; ability to relate professionally inside the work environment. * Organized and flexible.
