The Intelligence group provides high-end systems engineering and integration products and services, data analytics and software development to national and military intelligence customers. Using a holistic approach, designs, develops, evaluates and modifies end-to-end systems and systems-oriented products through their entire life cycle. Generates quantifiable requirements based on customer description, system planning and design, and acquisition logistics.
Ensures requirements comply with client requirements and government standards through formal verification methods. Translates high level product development strategies into system requirement specifications and works with other engineering disciplines to develop lower level detailed implementation requirements. Establishes and coordinates development of standards, practices, and procedures as related to the overall product development.
Designs interfaces and brings system elements together so they work as a whole. Assesses performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures. Customer liaison and support for business development activities and to understand and shape requirements.
Participates in system conceptual design and documentation of the design concepts. Translates high level product development strategies into system requirement specifications and works with multi-discipline engineering teams to develop lower level detailed requirements.
Participates in design reviews of components (hardware and software) to ensure applicability to the current system and traceability of requirements through compliance verification and validation.
Generates system level requirements verification procedures and customer acceptance test procedures. Reviews test plans/procedures and ensures they meet the objectives of the contractual requirements and participates in the testing process to validate requirements.
Specific Job Requirements:
The candidate will be responsible for project management and technical support for a customer mission with a focus on engineering and construction. The candidate will assist with the development of long range plans, assessment of capability, performance of cost/benefit analysis, and prioritization of project initiatives. The candidate will coordinate with experts, managers, and stakeholders to deconflict requirements, clarify priorities, and collaborate to make the most effective decision(s) for mission success.
The candidate should have proven experience in developing and tracking both schedules and budget for multiple projects. The candidate must have capability to plan, sequence, and execute complex inter-dependent project deliveries with appropriate documentation.
The candidate will have effective communication skills and the ability to develop partnerships to accomplish objectives. All communications will be focused on project information.
Requires 12 to 15 years with BS/BA or 10 to 13 years with MS/MA or 7 to 9 years with Ph.D.
The candidate must possess the following:
Significant experience in project management to include, but not limited to, tracking program milestones and actions
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple requirements
Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently to meet project deadlines
Ability to travel OCONUS
At least 5 years of experience working in a customer environments
Strong attention to details and documentation
Strong communication skills
Bachelor degree (Engineering, Business Management, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related discipline)
It is desired the candidate have the following:
Ability to work with minimal supervision and make adjustments to meet mission needs
Experience in the full range of project and program management tools and processes with an emphasis onplanning and resource management
Experience with commercial procurement, property management, inventories, facilities support, construction management, and facility maintenance activities.
