You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in digital engineering or systems engineering, including system modeling and simulation

  • Experience using digital engineering tools, such as MagicDraw, for developing system models and conducting analysis in conjunction with agile software development projects

  • Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) methodologies and standards, including SysML and DoDAF

  • Experience conceptualizing military problems

  • Experience decomposing high-level missions systems modeling, and developing detailed designs in a systems model in support of product design, development, and documentation

  • Experience with interface control documents, interoperability test plan and certification processes, lab based security assessment (LBSA) Documentation, or system or software design documents

  • Experience managing key performance parameters (KPPs)

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Systems Engineering

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience supporting engineering tools, including Dassault 3DS, SBE Vision, IBM DOORS, Jama Connect, ModelCenter, TeamCenter, MATLAB, and STK, and CAD, tools such as CATIA and SolidWorks

  • Experience with software development using Java

  • Experience developing and executing model-based testing using the systems model with linked engineering tools

  • Knowledge of Cyber security concepts and principles, particularly in the context of military or defense systems

  • Knowledge of linking analytical and engineering tools in a digital thread

  • Ability to translate complex requirements into detailed system models

  • Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams

  • Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Systems Engineering

  • SysML OMG Certified Systems Modelling Professional (OCSMP) Certification

  • INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certification, including CSEP or ASEP Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
