Position Title: Systems Engineering Support
Req #:295Location: MarylandResponsibilities:As Systems Engineering support at OPS Consulting, you will utilize your expertise in the science of condensed matter or solid state physics, heterostructure quantum devices and cryogenics, and modeling & simulation of quantum inspired devices to provide analysis and technical advice/assistance to the customer. You will work closely with customer engineer and technical teams to facilitate complex technology development. Responsibilities may include:
Simulating medium-scale behavioral systems
Reviewing experiment and test plan proposals
Ten (I 0) years' experience as a Systems Engineer supporting programs to develop and field large-scale systems to include expertise in systems architecture, requirements analysis, system documentation, system evaluation and process execution and evaluation.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.Required Skills:
Demonstrated expertise in test plans, procedures, and test result analysis
Experience with system design and requirements management
Masters or PhD in Quantum Physics, Engineering, or quantum technology related discipline.
Strong written and oral communication skillsSecurity Clearance: A current government clearance, background investigation, and polygraph are required.We are an equal opportunity employer.
