MITRE is seeking a qualified candidate to apply intelligence community operational experience and system engineering skills to advance MITRE 's Army Intelligence portfolio, including guiding intelligence system planning and investment decisions, and intelligence integration efforts pertaining to manning, equipping, training, resourcing, and readiness necessary to conduct intelligence operations in support of Army requirements.

The successful candidate will work across MITRE/Army intelligence enterprise to discover solutions to Army intelligence integration and operational problem sets and will assist MITRE efforts in recommended new operating and warfighting concepts, doctrine, capabilities across echelons, and improved force structures. The candidate's skills and knowledge will be applied in direct support of the Army G-2, Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM), Program Executive Office Intelligence, Electronic Warfare, and Sensors (PEO IEW&S) Headquarters and Program Offices, and Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Center (C5ISR) Research and Technology Integration.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Advise Army Intelligence government managers in defining the context, problem space and vision to assess future intelligence priorities, road maps, and technology needs using modern system engineering approaches.

  • Apply system engineering skills to drive a holistic approach against applicable service intelligence problem sets.

  • Apply cutting edge methods and tools (such as Model-Based Systems Engineering and Data Analytics) to evaluate intelligence operations performance, constraints, and gaps (and propose changes).

  • Support the application of emerging technologies across multiple Army domains.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 8 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 5 years' experience; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience.

  • Army intelligence experience, including strategic, operational, and tactical.

  • Ability to interact with sponsors, including helping to set the project direction, briefing results, and developing and presenting analytically based conclusions and recommendations.

  • Familiarity with the DoD intelligence community and intelligence systems.

  • Knowledge of force-wide intelligence operations.

  • Demonstrated evidence of leading teams and interacting with senior government sponsors.

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

  • Active TS/SCI clearance

  • This position requires a minimum of 50% hybrid on-site presence.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Mission knowledge of intelligence operations, the intelligence lifecycle, and intelligence systems.

  • Demonstrated experience in converging solutions to achieve integrated results.

  • Ability to lead teams supporting military intelligence operations.
