I.

BASIC FUNCTION:

Supports Mount Auburn hallmarks of service excellence and quality for all job responsibilities.

Researches, implements, and supports new information technologies to increase server systems operational efficiency with general supervision. Manages corporate projects and problem resolution requiring the participation of multiple specialized teams.

II.

SIGNIFICANT RESPONSIBILITIES:

A.

Performs specific job responsibilities under general supervision:
1.

Analyzes, optimizes, implements, and maintains the Mount Auburn Windows Server based back-end computing environment.
2.

Implements, and maintains security technologies for all Windows Server-based systems throughout the enterprise.
3.

Researches, audits, tests, and sets standards for server operating systems and hardware to ensure compatibility and functionality in the enterprise.
4.

Researches, audits, tests, and sets standards for server virtualization technologies to ensure compatibility and functionality in the enterprise.
5.

Installs and configures server hardware in the corporate data centers.
6.

Audits, optimizes, and maintains the corporate Active Directory back-end architecture.
7.

Audits, optimizes, implements, and maintains highly available and fault tolerant back-end systems for the enterprise. These include, but are not limited to, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft File Services, Microsoft Sharepoint, enterprise Faxing, enterprise printing, VMWare, and Citrix technologies.
8.

Implements, audits, optimizes, and maintains the core systems that deliver the client experience for the enterprise-wide electronic medical record (EMR).
9.

Implements Group Policy and scripts (using various technologies) to manipulate server functionality to meet business and security needs in the enterprise.
10.

Interfaces with clients, vendors, and other teams on multi-faceted projects involving Windows-based server technologies.
11.

Interfaces with clients, vendors, and multiple teams while providing resolution to problem incidents as escalated from the Technology Service Center.

III.

JOB SCOPE: Frequently interacts with other Mount Auburn departments on server system hardware and software problems.

Researches, implements, and educates peers on new technologies. Coordinates and performs daily corporate problem resolutions supporting server system hardware/software issues. Work environment includes hospital areas, ONEIS computer room and office settings.

Must be conscience of all operational and safety procedures. Rotating shifts, including wearing a pager and working weekends and/or irregular long hours as well as occasional overnight travel.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Education:

Associates Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.

Experience:

Minimum three years' experience in computer electronics and/or windows system administration.

Experience in microcomputers and supporting server hardware/software required.

Licensure,

certification, and/or

registration:

Valid driver's license

Recommended Certifications (or equivalent):

Microsoft MTA

Citrix CCA XenApp

Additionally, any one of the following is recommended:

CompTIA Network+

CompTIA Server+

CompTIA Security+

CompTIA Linux+

VMWare VCP

Other Minimum

Qualifications:

Good organizational skills, analytical, dependable, detail oriented, good interpersonal skills, and understanding of the English language (both written and oral). Must have a thorough understanding of the 7-layer OSI model.

We are looking for talented systems engineers to support various initiatives within the company across the entire life cycle of design and development. Specific Responsibilities: * Work with multi-disciplinary teams of engineers to execute all phases of the systems engineer process: * Define concepts of operations (CONOPS) for various new proposed programs and refine existing CONOPS for existing programs. * Define top-level stakeholder requirements for systems as well as subsequent levels of requirements for systems * Track defined requirements against testable and verifiable milestones as the program evolves * Conduct fault tree analyses and FMECAs in support of program execution * Write and execute test plans in support of requirements verification and FMECA testing * Define and track programs risks, including the design of mitigation plans to reduce program risk over time * Support program reviews for programs across Aurora to ensure engineering quality and that all aspects of the product and program lifecycle have been accounted for * Support the definition and refinement of processes within Aurora to better support systems engineering activities * Guide the design of underlying principles and architectures for current and future Aurora autonomy programs, spanning large and small unmanned aerial vehicles, human-robot interaction (both in-cockpit and ground-based), autonomous path planning and scheduling systems, and other efforts * Support business development opportunities and the execution of research for military and commercial customers * Support Program Managers in program proposals, program planning, and program execution * Contribute to proposals, reports, and presentations where Systems Engineering issues are relevant Minimum Requirements: * MS or PhD in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Human Systems Engineer, or a related field and relevant experience in applying systems engineering principles to complex aerospace or human-autonomous systems * Technical background in autonomous systems, human systems engineering (human factors, HCI, and related fields), software development, or systems engineering * 5 plus years of demonstrated experience in systems engineering activities * Demonstrated success in a highly collaborative environment * Excellent English written and oral communications skills. * Must be a US Person (US Citizen or US Permanent Resident/Green Card Holder).
