We lead the development and implementation of complex and specialized products, applications, services and solutions. From delivering sales presentations and product demonstrations, to developing detailed installations or system integration plans, we ensure customers get the innovative, relevant, interoperable solutions they need.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides in depth technical and architectural sales expertise in enterprise data center opportunities (Server, Mid-range storage, networking and HyperCoverged Solutions.

  • Builds relationships and trust with customers

  • Assists customers in formulating strategies and vision, as well as the role Dell EMC plays as a strategic partner

  • Works with all Dell EMC field teams as well as select partners to drive enterprise business and solve customer problems in large multi-national Global accounts

  • Helps remove barriers to enterprise sales

  • Meet or exceed sales objectives by selling and consulting on complex solution opportunities

  • Work independently and take the lead on technical sales to ensure that the Dell EMC solutions are comprehensive, achieve customer goals and provide an outstanding customer experience

Essential Requirements

  • 5+ years of related experience with a Bachelors degree;

  • Self-motivated individuals with strong drive for results

  • The candidate must be able to work independently, with strong written and oral communication skills

  • Candidate must demonstrate working knowledge in high performance systems (large scale installations, clustering, high throughput, etc.), familiarity with customer challenges

  • Familiarity with Data Centers, enterprise technologies, etc

  • Candidate preferably must live in the Minnesota area and be willing to travel to customer locations up to 75%

Description Sr. Field Service Engineer is responsible to maintain, install and repair Sciex products at both internal and external customer sites, including strategic accounts. This position works independently to resolve all assigned customer and technical issues. Partners with Sales and Service management to drive customer satisfaction and business objectives. Mentors and develops less experienced staff members. * Completes and successfully pass assigned training tasks on assigned products and responsibilities * Expert knowledge of Sciex and OEM products * Working knowledge of applications/software workflow * Expert in performing high quality installation, repair and maintenance on mass spec instruments * Assigned and responsible for customer satisfaction at strategic accounts * Performs IQ/OQ and other qualification products. Includes training. * Conducts special projects as directed * Leading the tracking and completion of district PMs * Assists the District Manager with identifying resource and training needs. * Mentors and trains lesser experienced staff members * Expert in HPLC installation and maintenance * Performs preventive maintenance on select products * Demonstrates and completes all administration duties * Maintains own tool and parts inventory to ensure adequate supply * Assist District/Process Manager with coordinating background work and leading technical discussions for regional escalations * Troubleshoots and resolves difficult service situations both within assigned accounts as well as across the district/region * May fill in for District Manager as needed Job Requirements Qualifications * Associate's degree (A.S./A.A.S) or Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering or equivalent experience * Prior experience using and/or servicing mass spectrometry or related scientific instruments.
