Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Systems Engineer to join our team to join our team in El Segundo, CA.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Focuses on DoD 5000.02 artifacts and documentation.

• Supports systems engineering principles throughout the system's lifecycle phases: concept, development, production, utilization, support, and retirement.

• Supports the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with one or more of the 25 process areas defined by ISO/IEC15288, to include: Technical Process Area, Enterprise Process Area, and Agreement Process Area.

• Supports contributions to the development of sections of systems engineering documentation, such as System Engineering Plans, initial capability documents, requirements specifications, and interface control documents.

• Takes direction from more senior personnel.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in STEM field.

• Four (4) years of additional experience is required with a High School diploma; two (2) years of additional experience is required with an Associate's degree

• Knowledge of DoD 5000.02 documentation requirements, use case development, requirements derivation and developing technical project artifacts.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering.

• Master's degree in STEM field.

• Relevant industry standard certifications.

• Familiarity with Agile software development process.

• Experience with software engineering processes.

• Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and methodologies.

Clearance Requirements:

• Must have a TS/SCI clearance

Physical Requirements:

• The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.

The projected compensation range for this position is $68,000-$113,000. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in it's employees beyond just compensation.
