Job Description:

Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking Systems Engineers in Huntsville, AL.


Develop requirements specifications derived from customer needs for product development programs associated with the DoD, DARPA, NASA, and commercial applications. The selected candidate will interface with program management and design engineers to support a program's systems engineering needs throughout its design life cycle, including modeling system behavior, defining the system architecture, dictating system interfaces, performing requirements verification, helping develop test programs, and maintaining configuration management. The selected candidate will present the systems engineering artifacts they have developed to the customer in formal design reviews and will serve as a customer liaison in many of their programs.


  • Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years of relevant experience

  • Derive requirements for complex electrical, electro-mechanical, mechanical, and software systems

  • DOORS and/or other requirements database tools

  • MagicDraw and/or other Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) modeling tools

  • US Citizenship is required as is the ability to obtain a DoD clearance

Northrop Grumman Technology Services in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Systems Engineer to join our team. The main role for this team member is that of Scrum Master. The Scrum Master aides the team's self-organization keeps the team motivated and ensures the team maintains good Scrum activities. Manages the daily tag-ups, participates in Scrum of Scrums, meets with product owners, identifies and removes team impediments. This exciting position: * Analyzes user's requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications. * Analyzes system requirements and leads design and development activities. * Guides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies. * Provides technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design and technology. * Incorporates new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations. * Develops technical documentation. * Develops system Architecture and system design documentation. * Guides system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans. * Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues, or conflicts. * Ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility Basic Qualifications: * Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline with a minimum 2 years of professional experience or no experience required with a related Masters degree. * Experience using system modeling tools to solve systems engineering problems (Rhapsody, MagicDraw, or similar tool etc...). * Ability to derive, manage, and verify requirements. * Experience on an Agile software development team. * Ability to decompose high level system architectures and requirement specification into Agile stories and tasks. * Active Interim Secret security clearance. Preferred Qualifications: * Scaled Agile Framework experience; working as a part of a SCRUM Team. * Candidates should have a solid understanding of Modeling and Simulation (M&S). * Working knowledge of MBSE activities and implementation.
