  • A Systems Engineer (SE) is a unique individual who combines the communications skills to build strong professional relationships with the technical skills to develop compelling network solutions that solve customers' business issues. The SE partners with an account manager to drive growth while enhancing customer satisfaction in the assigned accounts.

  • Daily activities include direct customer & partner engagement; comprehensive discovery, information sharing & collaborative solution design; proposal development; solution demonstrations; proof-of-concept test design & execution. SEs also work collaboratively within Juniper to highlight emerging customer requirements & use cases, convey competitive landscape, and coordinate with Juniper & partner professional services to ensure implementations meet or exceed customer expectations. Additionally, time is invested in technical, professional and leadership development through self-study and formal training.

This position covers a large geography and diverse customer base. In the same day you may deal with a business-critical and demanding service provider network as well as a small school district just beginning to consider higher bandwidth requirements. Travel is a necessity. A Seattle-based individual is ideal.


  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a pre-sales SE for a network vendor; 10 or more years network engineering experience.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Juniper solutions or equivalent

  • Experience designing/building secure and scalable campus LANs, WLANs, WANs and Data Centers.

  • JNCIE or equivalent highly desirable.


  • BGP, EVPN, VXLAN, OSPF, Clos, Campus LAN (wired and wireless), NG Firewalls


  • Python, Ansible, SLAX, JET, PyEZ, NETCONF, Yang, Containers

The team As a DevOps Systems Engineer at DocuSign you will work on streamlining and eventually automating the ongoing process of deploying, securing, and updating our Linux and Windows servers. You will collaborate closely with members of our DevOps team and assist with various operating system and application hardening projects. This position The ideal candidate will be an experienced Systems Admin/Engineer that is passionate about infrastructure and configuration as code and have solid experience administering Linux and Windows servers, an understanding of common security vulnerabilities and how to remediate. To be successful in the DevOps Systems Engineer role you will need to partner with other members of the Operations, Engineering and QA teams. This position is an Individual Contributor and reports to the Director of DevOps. Responsibilities Assist in monitoring, problem-solving and issue resolution of infrastructure component Monitor for system alerts and provide hands on resolution of incidents Work with members of the DevOps team to evaluate, improve, and automate infrastructure components Work closely with the security team to ensure the remediation of reported security vulnerabilities Basic Qualifications BS in Computer Science or another related field 3+ years’ experience supporting Linux servers and environments, Ubuntu experience preferred\ 3+ years’ experience supporting Windows servers and environments 3+ years’ experience working with a private or public cloud - OpenStack, Azure, VMWare 3+ year of experience with administrative use of scripting such as BASH, Powershell, Python, Ruby, and SQL scripting languages 2+ year of experience working with a version control platform - GitHub, Bitbucket, Gitlab 2+ year of experience working with webserver platforms - NGINX, Apache, IIS, etc. 1+ year of experience working with a configuration management platform - Chef, SaltStack, Puppet 1+ year of experience working with a container platform - Docker, Rkt, LXC 1+ years supporting complex, distributed applications Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of networking principles and design Hands on experience with technologies like Jenkins, Artifactory, HashiCorp tools, RunDeck A good understanding of software development principles Experience with tuning performance on Linux and Windows systems Eager to roll up his/her sleeves and understand how technologies like Cassandra, RabbitMQ, Vault, and Kafka work Hands on experience with security benchmarks and system hardening Knowledge of technical writing principles and practices Experience in an Agile / sprint-based work schedule Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong attention to detail Natural aptitude for teaching and ambitious to learn from others in a collaborative team environment About us DocuSign® helps organizations connect and automate how they prepare, sign, act on, and manage agreements.
