In this position, you will:
Develop, implement, and support technical systems including network infrastructure, servers, storage solutions, and databases
Evaluate and select new technology using technical expertise in areas such as network management, Linux, Windows, cloud infrastructure and/or database administration
Configure and implement cloud services and hybrid architectures
Implement and integrate enterprise-wide systems that meet Agency goals
Mentor junior engineers to support their skill development and professional growth
Continuously develop your skills through agency-paid professional development opportunities
Successful candidates will have:
5+ years of technical experience in administration, database administration, cloud technology, or networking
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
Advanced experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft 365 services
Ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems on a variety of operating systems
Ability to interpret business needs and recommend technical solutions that meet those needs
Knowledge of security best practices and standards
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, sufficient to explain complex technical problems to diverse audiences

This position works a hybrid schedule with a few days per week onsite at our office
Works in a typical office environment with considerable time in a sitting, stationary position
Constantly operate a computer and other office equipment including typing and keying
Must be able to occasionally move around the office to retrieve files and documents
Frequently communicate with team members; must be able to exchange accurate information accordingly
Occasional travel required
Some nights and weekends required
